About the Role:

– Oversee and enhance financial management systems, including project fee management, resource management, and profit and loss reporting.

– Strategic planning and forecasting, alongside managing transactional finance elements to ensure operational efficiency.

– Regularly visit studios across the UK, to build finance presence and integrate financial operations.

– Lead a small, skilled finance team comprising a company accountant and a finance assistant, fostering a friendly and productive working environment.

– Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and other senior management to support the practice’s business plan and vision.

About the Person:

– Proven experience in finance within a creative or people orientated industry with a strong understanding of billable hours and project management.

– Qualified by experience or holding ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualifications, with a flexible approach to qualifications.

– Exceptional communication skills, able to engage effectively with a diverse, international team.

– A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a track record of identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.

– Comfortable with a hybrid working model and regular travel, including visits to the central finance team.
